  • No. All seminars are introductory and beginner friendly.

  • Yes. We teach techniques step by step in a controlled environment with close instructor supervision. We stress discipline and adherence to the rules and principles created by Imi. There is no free sparring or sport competition type fighting.

  • Comfortable athletic clothing. We enter the tatami barefoot. Avoid wearing jewelry, watches and having long nails in order to prevent injuries.

  • Currently participation is restricted to adults only (ages 18+). Training may eventually expand to a children group.

  • Yes. Seminar details, rescheduling and cancellation instructions will be included in your confirmation email.
